Town of Uehling

November 12, 2018

This is the first Charters of Freedom setting in the State of Nebraska. A presentation was made to the Village of Uehling Council in early 2017 to discuss the placing of a brick and cast stone Charters of Freedom setting in a high visibility area with easy access by school children and citizens. The site selected by Mayor Dalman was on the grounds at 129 5th and Elm Street. A letter of intent was completed on August 14th, 2017, and construction began the following year. The completed setting was dedicated on November 12th, 2018.
